  Silversands Grenada is a newly opened luxury boutique hotel on Grand Anse Beach in Grenada. In August 2017 I was commissioned to install and project manage six high commercial end kitchens at the resort which led to the kitchens receiving the prestigious CEDA award for project management. The resort opened on December 1, 2018 and just prior to that I joined the hotel team in a dual role as Special Projects Manager/Assistant Director of Engineering, overseeing a team of 19 engineers, taking on the responsibilities of the Director of Engineering in his absence. In July 2020 I was appointed as Chief Engineer and am now responsible for the engineering team and the upkeep and maintaining of the resort.The resort has 52 rooms, including four Three-Bedroom Hillside Villas and five Four-Bedroom Beachfront Villas. There are two restaurants, one lounge, a Spa retreat and we are proud to have the longest swimming pool in the Caribbean at 330 ft. (100 meters).Silversands Grenada has introduced a new way for travelers to experience Pure Grenada, the Spice of the Caribbean. Sleek and modern in its design, the resort and residence project will offer an unpretentious luxury experience radiating with the warmth, originality and energy of true Grenadian life.Sophisticated in its simplicity, Silversands represents a radical departure from conventional Caribbean hospitality offerings.
