Appointed in Jan’20 into a role which was more commercially focused than previous focus. Included managing existing External Sales team as well as Marketing Team. Despite inexperience of position, employed project management skills and team building experience and worked with team into creating functional and hard workinggroup who achieved all business management objectives / KPIs – strong team ethos andcamaraderie was a significant part of this. Key Highlights:New Business Nominations:Despite gaining new role and team just prior to pandemic was able to work with team to create a structure and develop personnel, communication and team work ethos which proved successful in being awarded an unprecedented level of new business wins, approx 200% increase on previous financial year and achieving KPI with significant growth. Pipeline:Working closely with External Team and Leader created strong pipeline of opportunities forfuture growth. Acted as communication point in ensuring internal stakeholders supported team through support requests and problem follow up (PFU) activities.Customer Account Management:Due to pandemic the business saw significant increases on the existing Medical components withinAdvanex inventory – was able to manage customer expectations and continued communicationthroughout to ensure supply was maintained and controlled. Project Management:Supported and managed several existing projects as well as gain significant investment from customers for continuous improvement and obsolescence projects. This included successful negotiation of transfer of existing platform cell from Advanex UK to Advanex Cz.Account Management / BREXIT & Growth:The pandemic caused significant increases in communication from customers to ensure businesscould maintain continued supply, this included high levels of weekly COVID Status reports whichneeded detailing, supporting internally and with suppliers of essential input materials. Technology Transfer – USALong term project for Major global pharma customer, worked with customer to set-up a single source / dual site supply project. Initial step was the transfer of a full in-house dedicated manufacturing cell to sister site located in the US. Project delivered on-time in full and to budget.Customer Management:Working with portfolio of customers and internal stakeholders continued to introduce newmanufacturing equipment and investment directed from customers to support. During mytenure within this role it was an approx. total in excess of £2.5 Million. All projects completed on time and in full.Medical Project Growth:Continued to support customers through communication and continuous improvement activities, this saw significant growth and business wins of expansion of existing Medical projects. Aerospace Project Growth:Established regular touchpoint meetings with top customers / distributors requesting feedback onareas of improvement. Significant global customer ordering was sporadic and uncontrolled, worked with distributor and customer to establish min. ordering levels, stocks and improved communication seeing a significant growth in sales and improved OTIF.Aerospace Purchased Parts:Working with Prod.Control and suppliers improved the purchasing and leadtimes of tooling byordering larger volumes, and establishing min.stock levels and supplying ex-works to customers – increased profit margin and direct sales by 24%.Major Global Pharma Project Recovery:In 2016 was requested take over account management of major project for global platformmedical device supplied to two customers at UK based sister site. Share of volume was below 20% of global demand. Working with internal teams, suppliers and constant dialogue with key stake holders within customer I was able to increase share to 80% and gain investment in new high speed machines allowing reduced footprint & increased profit and sales. Responsibility for Advanex Europe Southwell Ltd major customer and all sales activity and maintaining several major global projects across European division and Global Group of companies.Medical & AerospaceManaged significant accounts within business ensuring communication and support was available at all times to globally based customers. Deep Drawn Project:With introduction of deep drawn technology into Advanex Group was successful in working with major Medical injector customer on new platform design. This included global comm with manufacturing site for development in Japan and establishing full plan for technology transfer into European site. Customer temporarily shelved project due but provided excellent feedback on management / communication.Improvement process - reduced administration delays / errors 90%Due to promotion was now in position to review and value stream map processes and make changes to simple administration errors which were causing refunds to customers, delays in order entry and administration cost. Over course of several months realigned activities and effectively reduced errors and delays by 90% against previous data.Global Marketing Literature:Crated full suite of marketing literature for use within Advanex group sites and teams. This was product and market specific and translated into half a dozen languages.Honeybee (AIR Tour) CreatedBased on Japanese custom of Exhibitions within customer sites created and designed European version which was named Advanex Innovation Roadshow. This included design of literature and content as well as specific sample cases and successfully carried out at several customers allowing Advanex Engineers to interact with customer engineering and design teams. Process now used by sister sites.Planning system:Created excel program pulling data from EFACS system allowing Production and Planning / Sales to review demands and provide clear delivery dates to customers which were maintained.Global websiteGlobal sales & marketing alignment within the global group over several yearshelped see the introduction of Global Website project and marketing project.
