Nourish'd was founded on the principle that food has the power to make us feel great, mentally. The right food can increase energy levels and decrease stress levels making us feel mentally fitter and happier. Our tech platform allowed companies to incentivise staff to order great quality healthy food for breakfast and lunch. My experience founding, running and ultimately shutting this company down was incredible. The highlights are as follows: - Founded the company in May 2016 - Pivoted several times - Was part of 2 accelerators (Accelerator Academy & JUST EAT Ventures) - Built a tech platform used by 20+ companies - Gained traction & peak revenue of £15k per month - Ran a team of 9 people - Raised investment from JUST EAT & completed a seed round of £150k - Shut the company with no outstanding debts Our online ordering service enabled a companies employees to order healthy meals from our accredited suppliers and have them delivered to their office, with no delivery fees, ready for collection at the designated in-office pick-up point.
