  Core Instrument Technician I am a highly qualified and experienced Instrument Technician who has a skillset suitable to both Oil & Gas as well as a Instrument Technician in a Paper mill. Very much a team player, I integrate anywhere, take the lead where possible and always use initiative. I have the intellectual capacity to rationalize issues, determine plans and enable teams to achieve success. I understand deadlines and targets and meet those using knowledge of the platform, negotiating a plethora of regulation and process and safely achieving success. Demonstrating my ability to transition and integrate, I have worked in a Paper mill Instrument team, being part of a small team of instrument and electrical based technicians in their day to day duties, before moving into the Oil and Gas industry. There I worked on the full spectrum of Shell assets, Brent Bravo and the challenges that a late-life platform brings. Shearwater, their newest and most complex platform. On both platforms, I have gained experience and contributed successfully, from leading multi-disciplined work scopes on gas compressors and generators to simply being exposed to modern instrumentation.
