  Development Test Engineer responsible for QA of Cisco’s VOIP and unified communications collaboration products, including MeetingPlace, Unity Connection admin, localization, DRS, Admin UI and general testing. • Designed and built a large scale virtualized network environment consisting of eight Cisco UCS (Unified Computing System) data center servers, Nexus 5k 10Gig switching architecture, VMware ESXi VShpere 4 and Nexsan SATA Beast storage. Configured Nexus 5k switches per integration requirements with the UCS servers and managed the environment with the VMware VCenter Server. This provided the ability to quickly deploy a wide variety of virtual machines for testing, thus reducing capital expenditures. • Developed tests and executed customer scenario system testing (CSST) for Cisco MeetingPlace 7.x Web and Audio, including interoperability of CUCM versions 6-8.x, validating functionality in a simulated customer environment containing multiple branch offices. • Performed Cisco Product Security baseline and vulnerability testing against all components in the MeetingPlace architecture. Such as Baseline credential strength, storage and recovery etc.. Vulnerability tests were a suite of automated tests intended to insure platform survivability in the event of a Denial of Service attack. • Built numerous test networks to accomplish VOIP testing which required design, configuring of numerous types of Cisco voice gateway products.
