Yeah, I edit our Blog & News. It’s a job that requires me to be more literate than an average Joe, know my syntax and semantics, key phrases and word counts. Truth is, this is but a small portion of what I do here. Every day, I try to evade mundane tasks that would stifle my creativity and make me think I need caffeine. I run away from them like a wild, starving cheetah. Doesn’t make me a cheat-er, does it? If I ever find myself in a position where all I do is get someone else’s things done over a moderately long period of time, I’ll pack my bags and go home to shear sheep and milk goats. Walk dogs and groom horses. Hug cows and water trees. Read books and play with children. Actually, I think that it will inevitably happen. The sooner, the better. But since it’s 2023 & I’m here to sell my values, I’ll dedicate a few lines to that, too. Oh, I’ll tell you everything about my strengths! I’ll garnish them so much that you’ll have to rub your eyes wondering if you just saw me flying. Imma show you how great I am! My bright ideas, creative genius and active involvement in fundraising campaigns have brought over $500K to the Foundation. Written and directed by…I have given presentations on our work to leading global companies and engaged them to donate. Watch me go. I have written speeches and delivered a few on my own; organized protocols and moderated at public events; managed important projects. Oh, lest I forget: I’ve also written a few texts for our blog. After all, I’m a blog editor, remember? I’d like my next job title to include some awesome adjectives such as ‘intergalactic’, ‘timeless’, ‘essential’, or ‘ethereal’. I’ve written so many “I’s” and “my’s” here, it makes me sick. If you’ve come this far and read all this, then we’re both in big trouble, pal. But then again, a glimmer of hope remains. If you’d like to collaborate with me, I’d suggest that you offer lots of money. The only universal God we bow to. But don’t make me work much, please.
