Lube and Vent Test Engineer 2008 - 2009 Ran standard PCV and Lubrication tests on development engines. Processed requests for V8 test engines, testing facilities, and modifications to ongoing tests. Oversaw testing and provided updates to design engineers. Processed disposition following test and produced final report. Successfully identified most contributing sources of oil consumption while troubleshooting vehicle PCV systems, and reported findings to design engineers for product improvement. Identified successfully problems with experimental oiling system, resulting in producing several possible solutions for design engineers to improve product. Developed a new system for monitoring oil flow through an engine, resulting in a method for engine diagnosis in a non-laboratory situation. Validation Engineer 2007 - 2008 Ran standard validation tests on production engines, processed requests for testing articles and facilities and produced final report after inspection. Reorganized and maintained company websites by removing and updating broken links and dated material, and implementing a layout easier to navigate, resulting in a more user-friendly format. Developed an Excel program that quickly and effectively plotted engine test data resulting in a useful tool for daily review and for the final report. Validation Rotation 2007 Watched over validation testing, provided Validation Engineers with regular updates, and worked with them to troubleshoot and resolve any issues encountered. Teardown Rotation Inspected engines after testing and compiled results into reports for Design, Validation, and Development Engineers. Quickly learned inspection process, resulting in eliminating backlog of engines awaiting inspection. Show less
