Engage in program development and management as well as assist program directors and VA leadership with proper oversight of treatment implementation and adherence to program policies and procedures as required by accrediting bodies, i.e., The Joint Commission. I provide consultative services to providers within various VA GLA programs outside of SUD in matters related to substance use and appropriate treatment needs of patients suffering from addiction. I also serve as a Liaison between the VA GLA and Tarzana Treatment Center (non-VA provider) for the maintenance, data collection/monitoring, and proper implementation of the admission process for emergency detoxification treatment services.
