Louise manages the business accounts, HR, and operations. She has fantastic business acumen and always contributes meaningfully across all areas of the business. She creates systems and process that work, and is highly organised and diligent. Louise is great to work with, friendly and supportive.

David Stammers

Louise is a passionate and driven individual with a natural ability to speak about her specialist field to those with lesser knowledge (myself.) She was a pleasure to work for and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this talented individual.

    • Student Support Officer
      • Sep 2007 - Sep 2008

Appointed to join a small team of 5 to develop a new pilot (temporary) role into a permanent position, which would effectively improve student retention and the overall student experience. I supported students in the school of health and social sciences, both academically and pastorally on a 1:1 or small group basis, liaising with academic and support staff around a range of student pedagogic and /or support needs. I led study skills workshops for students in order to enhance and reinforce their studies at HE level. I produced a variety of study skills resources which, I made available on a student support WebCT page that offered a one-stop-study skills shop. In addition, through my daily interactions with students, I was able to collect both qualitative and quantitative data around their HE experiences and fed this back to the University in order to influence changes in policy and procedure. We successfully met our objectives and the role was made permanent and is now embedded in the university support structure.
