Sep 2011 - Sep 2012
A year spent managing a team promoting student projects within the surrounding communities and supporting existing Not for Profit organisations with regular student volunteers. We served as a platform from which students could explore various volunteer-based pursuits that were already established or pioneer new projects with support from the Student Representative Council. The aim was to start up or continue sustainable projects and had the potential to become self-sufficient. We worked closely with the Primary Health Care Project run by MGD and were a part of the First Year student societies introductory programme. Show less
