  1) Design, development and testing of wire and parabolic reflector antennas, surface roughness analysis, strut analysis for loss in gain and Side Lobe Level performance. 2) Design, development and testing of MonoPulse Tracking System (MPTS) 3) EMI/EMC emission and susceptibility simulations and measurements of subunits of an indigenously developed transponder for space qualification using MIL-STD461E. 4) EMI/EMC space qualification tests were validated by Chinese Space Agency in Beijing, China and accepted. I was also leading three areas of applied research. 1) Renewable Energy The objective of this research area was to develop solar panel technology for satellite applications which is also relevant to space solar panels and solar panels for high altitude solar powered aircrafts. 2) Direct To Home & Earth Station (DTH & ES) The objective of this area was to analyse the feasibility for the beginning of DTH services in Pakistan. 3) Communication On The Move (COTM) Project As Project Director, I was leading this important project worth 280 million rupees. This project aimed at developing Communications On The Move (COTM) system for terrestrial or airborne platforms that should be able to track geostationary satellite while the platform performs linear/rotary motion.
