Bio
Morten Thøgersen
I have had the pleasure to be manager for Andrew Engelmann at Vestas Wind Systems A/S. Drew has been working as lead engineer, and later as Specialist in Vestas Sensor team. Drew has a very high level of proffessional expertise within mathematical modeling, simulations and fusion logic. Further he has a good system overview, and is good at planning and excecution of his tasks. Drew has acting team lead securing progress and excecution of team tasks and reporting back to Denmark EU. Further Drew has headed Vestas colaboration with University of Boulder Colorado, whitin the area of sensing technology. Drew has proven himself to be honest and well respected Specialist, both locally at the US site, but also international in Vestas EU sites. Drew has with his personality, and proffesional skills contributed to building a very well performing sensor team in the Vestas Colorado site. It is a pleasure for me to give Drew my very best recommendations. Due to strategic decissions at Vestas the US office in Colorado was closed in 2012.

I met Drew at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory where we were both worked on the pre-launch development and testing of the Cassini spacecraft. Drew as a leader in the test group was excellent at understanding complex issues and communicating with members of the group as well as personnel external to the group. Drew also was able to manage a very stringent schedule of tasks that were based on the alignment of the planets and absolutely could not slip.
