Oct 2015 - May 2017
As Marketing and Communications Officer, my role was to define the image of Sistema Scotland, particularly after the launch of the third Big Noise centre. A national marketing and communications strategy had to be established to support the aims of the organisation, and ensure key messages were delivered to support the funding of the programmes into the future. Key Achievements: Realigned the image of Sistema Scotland from a children’s music charity to one of social transformation. Increased enrolment rate for each centre through a more enriched and informative information pack. Released the potential in every member of staff as brand ambassadors for Sistema Scotland. Creative design of brochures, posters, flyers and other marketing materials to boost the reputation of Sistema Scotland and its services. Social Media Introduced a Social Media Strategy to communicate with families, communities, funders and stakeholders of the work of the Big Noise Orchestras. Developed Social media pages for each centre, allowing greater communication with parents and community members Realigned the charity social media pages to highlight the aims and objectives of Sistema Scotland Policies and Procedures Produced a style guide to ensure anything produced across the centres has a professional unified look and feel. Produced the Photography and Filming of Children and Young People Policy to streamline procedures across the organisation and protect members of the Big Noise orchestras. Rewrote the Information and Communications Technology policy to include social media guidelines to safeguard members of staff, volunteers and members of the Big Noise Orchestras. Website Development & Maintenance Implemented the redevelopment of the Sistema Scotland website making it more informative and user friendly, including continued content management.
