      California Superior Court, Court-Appointed Forensic Psychologist and True Crime Consultant. Forensic psycho-legal services are provided for criminal, civil, CPS, and family law courts. Consultation services are tailored to each law firm. Dr. Anderson provides expert witness testimony for both the plaintiff’s counsel and criminal defense counsel. CRIMINAL COURT: Typical criminal evaluations include Competency to Stand Trial, Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity, and Mental Health Diversion evaluations. Attorneys and judges request forensic psycholegal evaluations to assist with mitigating or incriminating factors. Risk assessments and sentencing recommendations are provided for parole and probation for high-risk offenders. In matters of deception, legal opinions include assessment of psychopathology, malingering of psychosis, malingering of memory, or feigning a mental illness. Clinical & forensic assessments are used in all legal cases. Most criminal cases involve serious penal code violations, including murder, attempted murder, sexual assault, or great bodily injury. Family law court-ordered evaluations include assessment psychological assessments to assist the judge with 730 child custody evaluations. CIVIL COURT: In civil court, Dr. Anderson is retained to provide clinical psychopathology assessments to plaintiffs to assess for psychological damages. Comprehensive clinical and forenisc psychological assessments are utilized to provide the most precise outcomes for the court. Other assessments include Veteran's evaluations and Fitness For Duty evaluations for Police Officers and licensed mental health professionals. For agencies, Critical Incident Debriefings are provided after traumatic events, such as attempted suicide, completed suicide, or homicide. In homicide investigations, Dr. Anderson provides psychological autopsies after suspicious homicides or suicides to provide insight into an individual's mental health leading up to the time of their death.
