Sometimes there is a person you discover on a path and you learn from them the promise of attending to the whole of the journey. Ben has been the creative leader of dozens of projects to bring professions together, he has created new ways of doing work, and is an early adopter of inclusion and respect before the world considered this to be important. I am grateful for his being in the world, especially in these times.

Ben and I have collaborated around healthcare transformation efforts. I have found him to be an extremely insightful thought leader grounded in policy analytics and a strong vision for addressing the challenges facing the U.S. healthcare system. Ben’s leadership has been displayed through his work with a collaborative online innovation network which brings together leaders from across the country in an effort to affect both policy and outcomes in the U.S. healthcare system. His brainchild, this group has impacted the conversation around the future state of healthcare in America. Ben is an authentic leader who uses his experience and skills to improve the quality and experience of healthcare in the U.S.

The Eugene S. Farley, Jr. Health Policy Center houses a team of qualified clinicians, evaluators and integration advocates collaborating to improve access to quality integrated primary care services in the United States. Our conceptual framework for healthcare integration is primarily built upon the Lexicon for Behavioral Health and Primary Care Integration developed by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), which addresses financial, political, community and patient-level needs. The Farley Center’s mission is to actualize this framework by providing support to states, payers, policy makers, communities, and clinicians who desire to transform into a more integrated and collaborative arrangement.
