Research is mainly focused on signal and image processing: - image reconstruction regardless of the technology (radar, acoustics, X-rays, T-rays, etc.) - image noise removal and enhancement through data preprocessing using data-driven tools (such as EMD or the Phase Diagram) - image decomposition and characterization under view-point variations such as translations, rotations, different scales and perspectives (using wavelet-based approaches) - feature engineering - image classification through ML and DL approaches (NN, Graph NN, CNN, and other classifiers) - time-frequency analysis As a side job, I also teach classes for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year Telecom students: - Digital signal processing - Wireless communications (practical applications with Arduino, Matlab and LabView) - Mobile app development with Ionic Framework (HTML, CSS and Angular) Show less
