- Do low-dispersity polymers form micelles with improved pharmaceutical properties? - Can the size of polymeric micelles be tuned by controlling the molecular weight of polymers? My research article addressed these research questions (https://doi.org/10.1021/acs.biomac.2c01261). - Developing metal-chelating polymeric micelles for image-guided cancer nano-therapy. I developed the polymeric micelles platform equipped with the chelator deferoxamine (DFO) to support radionuclide binding, which might be implemented as a theranostic nanoformulation. The research work is ongoing and will be published after in vivo evaluation of the lead formulation. -Co-delivery of chemotherapeutics and TME remodeling agents to facilitate nanoparticle delivery in fibrotic tumors. How to improve the endosomal escape of nucleic acid payloads? In my MS thesis, I evaluated cell-penetrating peptides (CPP) to deliver plasmid DNA to the cell lines to evaluate their translation efficacy. The CPP was fused with fusogenic peptides from Influenza hemagglutinin (HA).
