I applied my knowledge and experience of Occupational Psychology to teaching the next generation of occupational psychologists in the Psychology Department at Northumbria University. I led a 'Learning and Development in Organisations' module as part of the BPS accredited MSc Occupational and Organisational Psychology and teach Organisational Psychology on the undergraduate business psychology pathway. I am conducting research into the impact of motherhood on careers, career employability and have a particular interest in gender and careers. As an Occupational Psychologist I deliver consultancy work in a range of areas including job crafting, career development, leadership, assessment of potential for selection and organisational development. I am currently leading a project to develop collaborative leadership potential within the public sector to enable working across organisations. Finally, I supervise individuals who are training to become Chartered and HCPC Registered Occupational Psychologists.
