  The Chicago Debate Commission, through the empowering sport of Debate, is helping to build future leaders. Debate improves academics and college graduation rates, engages learning, creates leaders, and develops students who can think critically, research and use evidence to make decisions, communicate effectively, and collaborate, which are 21st century skills deemed necessary and critical to career and leadership success. The Chicago Debate Commission is the largest urban debate league in the country supporting nearly 1500 students from 75 schools and is slated for growth over the next few years.
