The ability to be both an effective administrator who must make tough decisions and still serve as a skilled educator who understands the needs of both faculty and students is a rare combination. In my personal experience of nearly two decades in higher education, the list of people with all these qualities is extremely short. After my recent experience teaching a course in FinTech as a Fulbright Specialist at IILM Graduate School of Management, I am delighted to add Dr Taruna Gautum’s name to the very top of this all star list. She is an extremely dedicated and resourceful educator who skillfully steers her organization to success. Without her guidance, my Fulbright Specialist program would not have been nearly as successful. My university PennWest and I are very grateful for her hard work, and warm hospitality, and look forward to a bright future of collaborations.
