In my two years working with Stashia, her talents for devising team building actitivies, creating specialized trainings, and facilitating group meetings were quite noticeable. She played a key role in the development of future training for national employees, as a member of the national Training Advisory Committee, and she has been asked on multiple occasions to facilitate national conference calls. As a co-worker, she is extremely helpful and supportive to all, and openly shares her resources and knowledge. She has a strong ability to develop relationships with other departments, and is extremely open to jointly working with others on best practices. Her style of managing and relating with both subordinates and peers is to trust in their abilities, and also allow them the room to develop and correct. Stashia succeeds as both as a team builder and a team member, and brings the added value of understanding how to foster the dynamics of successful work environment.

It is my pleasure to recommendation Stashia. She worked for me as my Associate Director of Career Services while I was Dean and Director at DeVry. She is a strong leader and performer. She received the Ron Taylor award while working for me at DeVry. She was also in charge of online graduate placement which was and is one of the more difficult areas to manage in career services. Stashia wants to make sure that the job is performed correctly. She is detailed oriented and makes sure that those reporting to her are properly trained and responsible. I hope to work with her again.
