Recruits replacement and new employees in conjunction with Researchers and Human Resources. Co-ordinates input from Project Managers, Programme Managers and the Research Manager for on-going performance management of Resource Centre employees. Ensures compliance with HR policies and procedures. Participates in performance reviews for various CBRC team members. Assumes responsibility for disciplinary matters of employees in the Resource Centre. Maintains centre cohesiveness and motivates individual and team performance. Motivates employees to interact constructively to meet the objectives of the tasks/projects within the allocated period of time. Identifies training needs in conjunction with Programme Managers and senior researchers, and facilitates participation in appropriate academic, technical or managerial training. Assists employees with problems of a personal and professional nature by sourcing appropriate interventions. Ensures compliance with the Basic Conditions of Employment Act.
