Shekher is hardworking and a clever person.
ALBERTO SUBIETA
In two-years, I have had the privilege and pleasure of working with Shekher as a Postdoc. Scholar in the Dept. of Anesthesia at the Uni. Of Iowa. Shekher has demonstrated himself to be an exemplary team leader, who brings together elements of scientific ideas and people management skills. Shekher is highly knowledgeable in the area of pain and has used that knowledge to successfully manage various projects. He maintains a complete open mind of a therapeutic area and uses basic science effectively to answer questions within the field. Shekher brings ideas with an aim to build consensus within a group of individuals representing diverse functional areas. He also understands the importance of timely decision-making and will either supervise members of the team towards an end point or, when necessary, simply make the decision himself. At the same time, he remains balanced in his discussions and makes all team members feel valued. Shekher is very goal-oriented and focused on performance and results. He is an excellent team player, enjoys interacting with others, and very supportive of his colleagues. It is a pleasure working with him.
