Inspired by Pierre Bourdieu’s concept of the literary field that encompasses multiple agents and is shaped by them, my colleague and I offer information and critical comments about authors, agents, publishers, booksellers, readers, and books. Our texts want to help our readers understand the literary fields in the UK, Germany and France. We also encourage our readers to discuss their questions and research projects with us.
