  I am a dermatologist with interests in both clinical dermatology as well as cosmetic dermatology. I completed my MD in Dermatology from Maulana Azad Medical College in the year 2005 and soon after started our first clinic 'Satya Skin & Hair Clinic' with my husband Dr. Shaiil Gupta. The core principles of our practice are patient centric: -Focus on patient education: We believe that an individual should know his or her diagnosis, the treatment options, which treatment is safest to opt for, when to expect relief, if condition is curable or the treatment is being given for alleviation of symptoms ,etc. -Prescribing medicines in a graded manner: As doctors, we know which medicines can provide quick results and which medicines might take a little longer to show response but have a better safety profile. We always prescribe treatment weighing the risk vs benefit ratio in each case rather than straight away prescribing meds which may give quick results but may cause problems later. I have completed 2 decades in dermatology. I have been a witness to the changes and progress in this field. When I started my practice, my main focus was on clinical dermatology and the only aesthetic procedures I could offer was chemical peels and microdermabrasion. There was still a lot to learn and there were so many advancements being made in lasers and cosmetic dermatology that it was both exciting and challenging. Now with 17 years into private practice, I can proudly say that 'Satya Skin & Hair Transplant Clinic' is one of the best in the field of Hair restoration surgeries; equipped with all kinds of latest laser machines and has thousands of happy and satisfied patients all over the globe. We have 2 clinics in Delhi & we will be soon opening a state of the art centre in Gurgaon.
