  After completing my PhD, I moved to the lab of Prof Anders Björklund to enhance my understanding of alpha synuclein aggregation in Parkinson's disease (PD) animal models. During this time I developed a rat model based on combined stereotaxic injection of monomeric and fibrillar forms of alpha synuclein. Through the course of this project, I worked with International collaborators at Penn State University, USA as well as national collaborators in Stockholm, Sweden. In several other parallel projects, I worked with Pitx3 transgenic mice, 6-OHDA model of PD
