It is my great pleasure to give a recommendation for Paramvir Singh. He joined my Combustion Laboratory as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in February 2019. Paramvir’s hard work on the UKIERI project with the University of Sheffield and knowledge in combustion engines contributed greatly to our project's success. His work on low aromatic formulated fuels has a vast scope. He was selected for the prestigious Indo-Canadian Shastri Research Fellowship for the exchange program at York University Canada during his work and awarded by Augmenting Writing Skills for Articulating Research (AWSAR) Award for his popular science story on postdoc work. He demonstrated the ability to work independently and in a group with great creativity and enthusiasm.

I am pleased to recommend Paramvir Singh. Paramvir worked with my research group at the University of Sheffield UK. He worked on INDO-UK collaborative research project to investigate the effect of low aromatic fuels on PM emissions. I was delighted with his performance, work ethics and dedication to research. He has the remarkable ability to draw innovative thoughtful opinions during research. He is very generous with assigned activities and deadline. He always took the initiative to mentor other team members in his area of expertise. Paramvir made intelligent and insightful contributions during his visits to the Low Carbon Combustion Centre University of Sheffield UK. His work on fuels, sprays and combustion is commendable which eventually led to number of publications. I can also envision Paramvir as a renowned researcher in his field someday, which I say is a high compliment indeed.
