Dunkerque I worked on a project named MURDASP at the French National Research Agency (ANR), focusing on modeling the COVID-19 pandemic in the northern region of France. My primary responsibility was to develop a statistical model of the epidemic that could be integrated with a multimodal transport model created by my hosting team. This integration aimed to study the spread dynamics of the virus. My primary responsibility was to develop a statistical model of the epidemic that could be integrated with a multimodal transport model created by my hosting team. This integration aimed to study the spread dynamics of the virus. The initial phase of my work involved handling extensive datasets using Python for both the pandemic and transport models. In the subsequent phase, I concentrated on implementing the model and identifying potential scenarios to comprehend and predict the dynamics of virus propagation

Mathematics, computer science applied in genomics and environnent (MaiAGE), Jouy-en-Josas, France I worked on the mathematical modeling and analysis of oscillating biological regulatory networks at the cellular level. In terms of modeling, I employed a discrete approach to dynamical systems known as Asynchronous Boolean Networks (ABN). Thanks to their qualitative nature, ABNs are particularly well-suited for studying biological systems, with the model's dynamics represented by a directed graph. Regarding applications, my focus was on two biological systems central to the life of livingโฆ Show more I worked on the mathematical modeling and analysis of oscillating biological regulatory networks at the cellular level. In terms of modeling, I employed a discrete approach to dynamical systems known as Asynchronous Boolean Networks (ABN). Thanks to their qualitative nature, ABNs are particularly well-suited for studying biological systems, with the model's dynamics represented by a directed graph. Regarding applications, my focus was on two biological systems central to the life of living organisms: the cell division cycle and the circadian clock of mammalian cells. My work has been acknowledged through two publications in international peer-reviewed conferences, along with publications of the proceedings. The primary outcome of my research is an original method for comparing biological oscillations with those captured by ABN models. This method not only aids in validating models but also contributes to their construction, thus providing a powerful tool for the scientific community interested in ABNs. The method has been implemented using MATLAB. Show less

Lyon, Villeurbanne I worked on the spatio-temporal modeling of Alzheimer's disease. I built a discrete mathematical model based on a system of differential equations (ODE) to explain the phenomenon of polymerization of monomers and the process of formation of amyloid plaques, responsible for this disease. I showed, after discretization, that the model converges towards a model of partial differential equations (PDE) of the transport type.
