Overseeing the implementation of an NIH funded randomized cluster trial named SPIRIT working across 116 sites in Mehsana. My job entails managing the implementation, research, and other admin related aspects of the community-based inter-sectoral project on suicide prevention. Recently completed another commission with Wellcome trust on "Workplace Mental Health: active ingredients" theme exploring the role of workplace engagements and peer network in improving workplace mental health space". Working as an consultant for the project "Indian Observatory for Mental Health" funded by the Thakur Foundation to explore the government expenditure/ budgetary analysis, health system preparedness for national and district level mental health programme across six states in India. Atmiyata is a community based intervention that aims to create a local network of community - based volunteers called Champions to provide support to their fellow community members CMDs. The project was funded by GCC. I oversaw the research component of the project across 610 villages in the Mehsana district under this project. My job role entailed adherence of data safety and quality assurance protocol during the research period of the project.SPIRIT is another project I worked on that is based on suicide prevention and is funded by NIH.
