Responsibilities: Involved in research and diagnostic works in lab like, detection and sub-typing of Influenza virus by Real Time PCR (CDC protocol), Detection of CMV, HPV, HSV viruses by PCR, Dengue qualitative, quantitative and sub-typing by Real Time PCR, Detection of HIV-1 DNA by real time PCR for diagnosis of HIV in newborn baby, HIV-1 Viral quantification by Real Time PCR. Viral DNA/ RNA extraction from clinical samples.Molecular Assay standardization ,optimization ,validation for infection disease, standardization and optimization of in-house HIV drug resistance genotyping assay, performing molecular and biochemical assay , AFB staining, Quantiferon-TB Gold, Solid Culture (L-J medium), DST, Liquid Culture (MGIT),GeneXpert (Xpert MTB/RIF),MTB DR plus Line Probe assay (LPA) for Mtb, Flow Cytometry, CD4,CD8,CD3 count, plasma drug levels estimation by LC-MS, Vitamin-D estimation, HIV Serology, HCV, HBV serology, CBC, LFT, KFT, Urine Analysis Also involved in quality assurance and quality control Exercises of Laboratory.
