  • Majority of power generated in generated system will not meet the load demand in the load centers due to power losses occurring in transmission and distribution system.• As the R/X ratio is high in distribution system compared to transmission system so majority of power losses occurring in distribution system.• Reduction of power losses in distribution system is done through network reconfiguration and Distributed Generation (DG) placement.• Load allocation of DG in Distribution system.
