Adjunct Professor(Full) and Faculty Advisory Board Member 在國家教育部和澳門政府的關心和支持下，澳門城市大學走過卅餘年歷程，33年風雨兼程、33載砥礪進取，這是一段既艱辛又難忘的不平凡歷史。1981年，黃景強、胡百熙及吳毓璘三位博士懷興國壯志、濟澳門弘願，歷盡艱辛，在氹仔大學山、創辦了澳門城市大學的前身—澳門東亞大學，是澳門開埠四百多年來第一所中國人創辦的正式大學。當時是以私人辦學方式開辦，冀籍此促進本澳高等教育發展，為社會作育英才。1992年，為實現澳門社會穩定和經濟發展，澳門東亞大學改制為公立澳門大學、澳門理工學院和私立澳門東亞公開學院(由原澳門東亞大學的研究生院擴充而成)。1993年經澳葡政府批准，原澳門東亞公開學院和葡萄牙國立公開大學聯合組成一所新型大學，名為亞洲(澳門)國際公開大學。故本校與澳門大學、澳門理工學院三校同源。 2010年9月，應三位創辦人之邀，陳明金先生接辦亞洲(澳門)國際公開大學，並出任大學校董會主席。2011年2月，亞洲(澳門)國際公開大學更名為澳門城市大學，(葡文名稱：Universidade da Cidade de Macau，英文名稱：City University of Macau)。陳明金先生接辦後，積極實施“更名、改制、轉型、升級”戰略，像紐約、倫敦、東京、香港的城市大學一樣，主打“城市大學”品牌效應，積極爲澳門這座東西文明首次擦出火花、具500餘年歷史的世界文化名城服務，體現出“澳人治澳、服務社會”的責任心和使命感。 自2012年開始，城大獲教育部批准在內地招收全日制本科生，令城大成爲繼澳門大學、科技大學之後，第三所可以在內地以及港澳地區開展全層次（學士、碩士、博士）招生的本澳高等學府，爲澳門高等教育新魅力再注新的正能量。2013年，校董會延聘澳門出生的知名美籍華裔學者、美國路易斯安那州立大學協理副校長彭樹成教授，台灣世新大學教務長蔡念中教授，加上我校原副校長、港澳知名學者梁文慧教授組成新的、大學強勢領導核心。近兩年來，澳門城市大學師資隊伍日趨壯大、教學工作制度日益完善、各種管理更加科學。 多學科多層次的課程體系 城大堅持以提高學生素質爲宗旨，堅持立足澳門、服務澳門，爲提高本澳青年競爭力、創造向上流動機會奠定素質基礎。經過多年的努力，城大已在工商管理、心理學、旅遊管理、文化產業等學科逐漸形成了自己的特色和品牌效應，今年新開設的熱門課程，如設計藝術、教育學、應用經濟學已成爲本澳學生升學的新選擇，報考人數的質量和數量也在不斷上升；尤其是在研究生教育方面，城大的碩士、博士課程備受職場人士推崇。在校的全日制學生由2011年的301人增至2013年的3070人，兩年數量增加十倍，本地學生占學生總數超過六成。 國際化的管理與師資團隊 爲保證教學效果，城大一直將師生比例控制在合理、科學範圍內。強化師資隊伍建設是城大的發展重點，目前授課教師中逾八成擁有博士學位，擁有彭樹成、梁文慧、蔡念中、申荷永和邱曉華等名師團隊，更延聘了心理學家Paul Kugler、John Beebe、Kazuhiko Higuchi、旅遊管理學專家馬勇、Walter Jamieson、教育學家王政彥、黃富順、文化創意產業之父John Hawkins、經濟學家溫元凱等著名學者作為大學客座教授，亦和葡萄牙新里斯本大學、美國佛羅裡達國際大學、英國牛津大學、密德薩斯大學，阿聯酋酒店管理學院，法國特魯瓦-香檳高等商學院集團，台灣中國文化大學，國內海南大學等院校達成合作協議，全面促進大學間學術與人才合作交流。目前城大的管理層來自內地、香港、台灣、澳門、美國不同地區和國家，教授亦來自中國、英國、葡萄牙、新加坡等世界各地，為提升城大的多元文化、國際視野注入新動力。 以數位城大促進科學管理 為了適應特區日益多元的人才培養要求，建設“人文化、數位化”的新型綜合大學，兩年多來，城大正努力提高教育技術手段的現代化水準和教育資訊化程度，投入钜資構建國際一流水準的數位化支撐環境，全面促進教學模式、科研手段和管理方式的變革。“數位城大”應用平臺將實現全校電子校務應用的統一開發、部署、運行、管理和維護，為全校電子校務應用提供基礎共用資料庫，並與校園卡實現同步共用。數位校園的建設、培訓及應用，不但極大地改善和優化了教育資源，提高了人員工作和學習的效率，而且還改變了管理和服務觀念，使校園的管理方式發生了革命性的變革，促使各項工作更加科學、規範。

The Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ), formerly the Hong Kong Council for Academic Accreditation (HKCAA), was established in 1990 as an independent statutory body to provide authoritative advice on academic standards of degree programmes in higher education institutions in Hong Kong. In 2007, the Council was reconstituted under the HKCAAVQ Ordinance (Chapter 1150). The HKCAAVQ took on responsibility for the vocational sector and statutory roles as the Accreditation Authority and Qualifications Register Authority under the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework under the Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications Ordinance (Chapter 592). The HKCAAVQ provides quality assurance and assessment services to education and training institutions, course providers and the general public. In addition to its statutory roles, the HKCAAVQ also provides advisory and consultancy services in education qualifications and standards to government bureaux and other organisations in Hong Kong and the Asia-Pacific region.
