  I am Dr Krishantha Pathiraja, serving as Chairman and Board Director at Palmyrah Development Board (PDB) since 2020. PDB is functioning under the State Ministry of Coconut, Kithul and Palmyrah Cultivation Promotion and Related Industrial Product Manufacturing & Export Diversification, Ministry of Plantation. PDB being the only state organization engaged in palmyrah industry focuses its fullest attention in increasing the palmyrah vegetation and in protecting the existing palmyrah trees. Our Board has been closely working with Palm Products Product Development Co-operative Societies, Community Based Societies, Woman Development Societies, NGOs, INGOs, District Secretaries, Divisional Secretaries and other organizations. This board is comparatively a small organization comprising 216 staff (including research staff) working in 10 districts. We are providing our services in different fields (production, development, marketing and research) satisfactorily for the betterment of the community that depends on palmyrah for their livelihood. Palmyrah Research Institute (PRI) is functioning under the PDB with highly qualified staff (PhD, M.Phil and M.Sc). Main activities of PRI are conducting researches, providing laboratory services, supervising and providing research facilities to University students, providing training programmes to the students and entrepreneurs and publishing research findings in international conferences, newspaper, sand journal articles. Major duties in my role are providing leadership to the board, taking responsibility for the board’s composition and development, ensuring proper information for the board, planning and conducting board meetings effectively, getting all directors involved in the board’s work and monitoring PRI activities.   S-Lon Lanka (Pvt) Ltd is the flagship company of the Capital Maharaja Organisation. It pioneered the production of PVC pipes in Sri Lanka and is, today, the country's largest producer of PVC pipes accounting for over 55% of the total PVC market Responsibility:  Responsible for Entire Distribution module/system running on Distribution points spread in an Entire Sri Lanka and Head Office. That software is used for re distribution and inventory management process.  Major objective is run the sales and Distribution process without any IT disturbances and looking capabilities to be increased the Sales Achievements. Introduce proper system procedures to run the application in more efficient way.  Manage the entire application, Co-ordinate with System Administrator and outsourced programmers and customer support team  User Training and Maintain proper relationship with System Users. Organizing in-house/external training programs for Executives, ERP users for better performance.  Handled all the issue & change request related to the BPCS ERP.
