I previously worked with Dr. Bible on a software modernization project for a large retail company. She joined the project about half way through, and very quickly adapted to the tools and methodology that we used to manage the work. The project involved coordinating with thousands of global users, and it was critical that each upgrade was performed as scheduled. Kierstin was persistent in maintaining communication to each user, and could always be counted on to ensure that each workstation was upgraded at the scheduled time. One of the keys to Kierstin's success was her ability to quickly learn and leverage the project management tools and methodology leveraged in this project. Along with common Microsoft Office tools, specialized project management tools were used to schedule and track progress. She was also quickly able to absorb and adapt to the Agile Kanban/Scurm frameworks that we used to prioritize and execute project tasks. Her ability to ramp up and quickly apply this knowledge was critical. Kierstin's main focus on the project involved working with users with older work stations that had to be replaced because the machines could not accept the newer software. This was especially difficult because the location of the user was often outside the US. Not only was Kierstin able to immediately able to learn and apply existing procedures for working with international users, but she was able to suggest and implement effective improvements to those processes. Overall, Kierstin is an effective and professional project manager, and I would definitely work with her again if given the opportunity.
