I met Dr. Jayanti Prakash in 2014 when she was working as Senior Consultant with UNICEF, providing technical support to Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Cell at Ministry of Women and Child Development. She had supported the ministry on areas like teacher training, curriculum and quality assurance. Since then I have followed her work and had the opportunity to work with her on different platforms, especially on learning and development standards for young children. She brings in her positive interpersonal skills and team spirit which has always facilitated a very democratic and interactive work environment. It was her leadership skills, nuanced understanding of early childhood and special education, pleasant demeanor and earnestness which enabled her to get further opportunities with Tech Mahindra Foundation as Project Director. Considering her specialised academic background and extensive experience in programmes and policy related areas, I think, she would be an asset to an organization. I wish her all the best in all her endeavours.
