Adjunct Professor
-
Jan 2012 - Jun 2013
Adjunct Professor in the Department of Social Sciences. Skilled and experienced at providing instruction in online, face-to-face classroom settings, and through a hybrid or blended approach. Provided instruction to students enrolled in Centenary's traditional Undergraduate and Graduate Degree programs, plus students enrolled in Centenary's creative School of Professional Studies. My focus as an Adjunct Professor with Centenary's School of Professional Studies was on providing an entrepreneurial approach to the educational experience by offering professional instruction to adult students in a variety of formats that complement their busy lifestyles - - i.e., online, in face-to-face classroom settings, and through a hybrid or blended approach. The curriculum under which I provided this instruction combined theory with practical experience, allowing Centenary's School of Professional Studies' students to apply their acquired knowledge immediately to earn Associate, Bachelor, and M.B.A. degrees. As the event's Chairman, I managed the entire campaign, including recruiting a minimum of five co-chairs, arranging for campaign meetings, following up with all members involved in the campaign, providing constant support and ideas, and monitoring efforts and activities so as to ensure that the campaign fundraising goal was meet or exceeded within the three weeks period of the campaign. The three previous Heroes Campaigns raised an average of 67k$; the goal for the 2012 Heroes Campaigns was $85k$; the 2012 campaign exceeded that goal, raising $103,231. Show less
