      Mr. Oyenard created and directed an in-school Suzuki-based violin program offered in Franklin County and Salem City public schools. The Franklin County program continues to this day under the support of Franklin County Public Schools. In addition, Mr. Oyenard taught under-privileged students for the Friends of the Roanoke Symphony, coached the Roanoke Youth Symphony Orchestra strings sections during auditions and at their annual Summer Music Institute, and judged its annual concerto competition.
