- Responsible and leading Clasado's enzyme development pipeline, including (not limited to) novel enzyme discovery, engineering, improving GOS synthesis and novel functionality capacities. Leading multiple projects with academic collaborators in the space as well as industrial partners. Identifying and distributing project resources, stakeholder & budget management in line with executive team & company Board. - Responsible for managing & reviewing IP portfolio, competitor tracking (PatSnap platform), IP landscape searches for new market opportunities. Working closely with IP lawyers to file new patent applications, patent examination process, co-inventorship on new patents. - Responsible for in vitro gut microbiome simulations, experimental execution & curation of state-of-art fermentation models with industry partners. - Responsible for in vitro intestinal cell interaction modelling, pre-clinical testing & simulations of small molecule and nutraceutical direct effects on gut intestinal lining, targeted for clinical applications. - Involved in specific human intervention & registered clinical trials of our GOS ingredient in specific adult cohorts. Management of academic clinical investigators & PhD students, monitoring progress, outcomes and deliverables, contributing to data publication in scientific journals. Presenting study findings at annual conferences. - Responsible for bringing in product innovation, prebiotic, synbiotic development with industry partners. Building company's IP portfolio and FTO in new health benefit and therapeutic areas. Show less
