  By virtue of my contract as Teaching and Research Staff at the University of Seville, I'm involved in teaching tasks responsibilities within the Differential Equations and Numerical Analysis Dpt. Specifically: - I collaborate as assistant professor in a subject of the last course within the Mathematics Bachelor's degree, University of Seville. - I also teach a subject of the first course within the Biology Bachelor's degree, University of Seville. Field of research: Numerical Modeling of Turbulent Hidrodynamic Flows with Free Surface This research concerns about the development of numerical simulators of hidrodynamic flows 3D with free surface. The numerical modelling has been barely considered hitherto due to the difficulty of carrying high 3D-performance computations. The computer improvements along with new adapted techniques makes it possible. The major goal is to produce advanced numerical simulators, in the sense of the minimum computational cost, perserving good stability properties. Simulators will be developed with FreeFem++ software, adapted to the resolutions of partial differential equations using the Finite Element Method (FEM). The final resolutions will run over parallel computation clusters at CICA and IMUS, Seville. Show less
