  I would like to introduce myself as Elavarasan E. I have obtained my Ph.D. degree from National Institute of Technology Puducherry, Karaikal in March, 2022 for the topic “Experimental investigations on single slope solar dryer under natural and forced convection”. While pursuing a Ph.D. degree, I am working as a Guest lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Institute of Technology Puducherry, Karaikal. Presently, I have published 19 research articles in highly reputed international journals, out of which 8 are ISI (SCIE) indexed journals, 6 are Scopus indexed journals and 5 book chapters and 1 Patent Submitted for Filing – Indian Patent. Furthermore, I attended more than 27 FDP’s, 33 National and International Webinars, 3 Seminar and 8 Workshop to hone teaching skills. I was expertise in the area of solar dryer under natural and forced convection. I am highly interested to obtain research grants from various funding agencies in India for the research proposals, which I have drafted. Besides, I assure that I can do collaborative research works and obtain research grants for the University through the Indo-African research projects. I assure you that I will discharge the assigned duties to the fullest possible extent and I will engage myself as a team in various activities like teaching-learning, research, consultancy and industrial collaborations.
