Dhananjay Sathe
Dr. Deepnandan is known to me for more than 15 years since my RPG days. Since then I had been in regular touch with him even after we both chose to leave RPG for better prospects at different places. I recon him as a forthright no nonsense research oriented scientist who always believed in generating meaningful experimental data. This would almost always come to his rescue during scale up and validations on commercial scale, where you are sometimes faced with a situation you never experienced in small lab scale. He was a person whom I always wished to be in my group so that my projects went smoothly to the plant. Unfortunately that never happened because he was in other group but fortunately we were good friends and could exchange many good ideas with him. Now after many years of gap in between we found ourselves working in goa and with that an opportunity to interact regularly. I enjoy Deep's company on weekends and we have some quality time together. I wish him a continued success in all his endeavours and a great professional career.
