Design and synthesis of diphyllin analogs for antiviral studies, and on the design and creation of next-generation lipid-based nanoparticles for functional delivery of nucleic acid to liver cells in vivo. Also prepared advanced liver-cell receptors-specific targetting ligands involving N-GalNAc, plus polyethylene glycol derivatives and lipids, all for the assembly and formulation of LNPs by means of a modular, click chemistry. The national collaboration work with the Veterinary Research institute in Brno, the University of Pardubice in Pardubice city, and Mendel University in Brno, Czech Republic. International collaboration work with the University of Salzburg in Austria and also Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China. Show less
