In addition, I am particularly interested in understanding the regulatory mechanisms of… Show more As a postdoctoral fellow, my research has focused on investigating the pathophysiology of neurological diseases such as multiple sclerosis and Alzheimer's disease. My expertise includes conducting experiments on murine models of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) and utilizing molecular biology techniques such as qPCR, Western Blot, and microRNA analysis to study signaling pathways. In addition, I am particularly interested in understanding the regulatory mechanisms of microglia and immune response in models of multiple sclerosis under Neuregulin-1. I have experience with ex-vivo models such as brain slice cultures and have studied microglia/macrophages/astrocytes polarization, phagocytic activities, neuroinflammation, and immune modulation. Moreover, my work also involves investigating preclinical stem cell and pharmacological therapies for multiple sclerosis using mesenchymal stem cells. I am passionate about advancing our understanding of the pathogenesis of neurological diseases and developing novel therapeutic approaches to improve patient outcomes.
