I met Barbara through the Creative Problem Solving Institute a few years ago. She was a volunteer leader/presenter and I was a volunteer leader/presenter and the coordinator of the Extending Program and the Applied Imagination Forum. Since then we have corresponded often about her work in Detroit in the past and currently in Savannah, Georgia. My knowledge of Barbara, her work and her commitment to ALL TASKS she takes on is that she is highly devoted, dedicated, committed and works consistently towards highly creative results for all involved in the projects she works on. I highly recommend her for whatever new tasks she takes on in the future.

Returning veterans with combat experience going back home or moving into a civilian community often have great difficulty adjusting to post military life. The solution to helping the veterans is to create a supportive community for veterans to live among person with similar experience and sympathy to help them through their healing process. This community will be called Veterans Village. The Village housing will be made out of shipping containers like the ones the former military persons lived in while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. The shipping containers will be transformed into rental apartment buildings, single family homes for sale and a large community center. Show less
