A new mix of Smart Local Energy System projects have launched across the UK as part of Prospering from the Energy Revolution, a £100 million Innovate UK funded programme under the Clean Growth Industrial Challenge. My role in ERIS - the Energy Revolution Integration Service - is to explore the potential of Smart Local Energy systems in the UK to support our Net Zero targets, as well as to provide flexibility services, and offering customers a better service and lower bills. I work with a broad range of businesses and projects to collaborate on a broad range of challenges from consumer service offerings, value propositions and business models, to policy and regulation issues.
