Anna Thomas was the assistant principal for the lower grades at a school where I was a teacher of English as a Second Language. She was the best listener, the most empathetic and the most responsive administrator in my 22-years as an educator. I clearly remember taking matters of serious concern to her on an impromptu basis and seeing her stop what she was doing, listen, commit to looking into the situation and later taking constructive action. This is exactly the kind of leadership our public schools need more of. I strongly recommend Anna!
