I developed change detection techniques to exploit long time series of heterogeneous data (e.g. optical and radar images). I built a probabilistic model (a-contrario model) to detect changes automatically by controlling the number of false alarms. This model does not require any a priori on the data. This post-doc was done in collaboration with Sebastiano B. Serpico from the DIBE (University of Genoa, Italy), where I was staying for 4 months.
