Bio
Hakim Khali
I have known Dr. Ahmad Jaffar for three years in his capacity of faculty, and chair related to the bachelor of business administration in E-Business. During these years, I have found Dr. Ahmad Jaffar to be knowledgeable, competent and professional. He is hardworking and pleasant as a colleague. He has demonstrated high intellectual capability, productivity and commitment to the institution. I also find him to exhibit a kind and generous spirit.

I had the pleasure and privilege to work with Ahmad (AJ) for over 7 years at the UAE University. On a personal level AJ is an extremely warm, generous and sincere individual who aided my acclimatisation into the UAE and was a colleague that I could rely on for measured advice and high quality support. As an academic AJ is the epitome of what a good professor should be, approachable, genuinely interested in student development and learning and constantly striving to produce engaging, relevant, high quality material for his students. This is supported by the regard in which he is held by past cohorts and his student course assessment results. As a researcher AJ brings significant industry experience, a highly analytical approach and a desire to conduct scholarship which has a tangible impact. He has published in a number of highly regarded journals and conferences and I have personally been impressed by his scholarship in the projects and publications which we have co-authored. AJ’s management and planning skills are second to none and he has an eye for detail as evidenced by his role in two international conferences which I chaired. Without his exacting standards and thorough preparation neither event would have been as successful. I wish him continued success and hope that we might work together again in the future.
