Led a team of mental health counsellors under the MindRise Project of PII to provide mental health support, academic support and financial assistance to children (and their families)who had lost one or both the parents due to covid-19. Joined as a Founding Faculty Member and entrepreneurially set up the Department of Psychology at Lakshmibai College. Also, set up Psychology Resource Centre (PRC) to serve the entire college community including students, faculty members and non-teaching staff. Currently, leading all the three initiatives of PRC - 1.) Institute Lecture Series (ILS) - organized by the faculty members on a monthly basis featuring eminent personalities from various courses of life to share their journey and experiences with the students. 2.) Saarthi - a psychosocial peer support helpline was set up in association with Lakshmibai Covid Relief Centre to provide psychological first aid to all the female students of University of Delhi. 3.) Sukoon - inspiring conversations/awareness about mental health and improve psychological wellbeing of college community through experiential sessions.
