I had the distinct pleasure of working with Dave during my 8 years at Simonds. Dave immediately impressed me with his depth of product and application knowledge, and his understanding of the needs and problems faced by his customers. Dave understands the manufacturing process as well. He has been deeply involved in problem solving, and continuous improvement activities. Dave has served on various continuous improvement teams to improve quality, performance and deliveries. Dave is a well respected, skilled, Marketing Manager that works well with everyone he comes into contact with. His management of the "Wood" sales team has greatly benefited Simonds and his customers over his many years in the cutting tool business.

David Purinton is a phenomenal manager. He is always fair and has a far reaching vision in his analysis of any given situation. Dave lights up a room with his pleasant and easy going personality. But, he's all business when it comes to the tasks at hand. I worked with Dave closely on many projects including the re-design and re-deployment of our corporate web site. It has been an honor to work with some one of this caliber. It would be a blessing if our paths cross in the future.
